How many of you find yourselves in a mad rush at the holiday season to make cards, only to run short on time. I know I do! I am always wishing I would have started the card making a lot sooner!! Well, that is how the #getcrackingonchristmas started. Jenn, Chari & Cheiron started doing a series the third Thursday of each month. This month they asked a bunch of ladies to join them to do a #getcracking blog hop.
So, grab a cup of coffee and join us for some Holiday inspiration! For today, I created two cards. My first card is using Honey Bee Stamps products.
This fun coffee cup shaker card was created using the Honey Bee Stamps Merry Christmas Stamp Set, Merry & Bright Honey Cuts Die Set, Coffee Cup Card Honey Cut Dies and Blah Humbunny Stamp Set.
I stamped the holly leaves and berries using Lawn Fawn's Chili Pepper & Noble Fir inks & the cardstock is Lawn Fawn in coordinating colors.
Here is a photo showing the Coffee Card Sleeve removed to reveal the shaker bits. This card is so fun & will fit a Starbucks gift card inside perfectly. Great for those quick, last minute gift ideas we all need during the Holidays.
My second card was created using Lawn Fawn's Winter Village Stamp & Die set, the Stitched Hillside Portrait Backdrop & the Here We Go A-Waddling Stamp set.
I colored all the images with Copic Markers, and used Distress Oxide ink in Broken China to ink blend the sky and the snowy hills!
Be sure to leave a comment below. Honey Bee Stamps has generously offered a $25 Gift Certificate to one lucky winner on my blog. Winner will be announced on July 26th. Oh, and I should mention that Honey Bee Stamps is having a new release at the end of the month!! So be sure to check out the sneak week coming soon!
Now to continue the hop, here is the lineup:
Thanks again for stopping by & don't forget to Get Cracking on Christmas soon!!
Hugs,
Lisa
